User Acceptance Testing Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive UAT Manager to lead User Acceptance Testing activities across complex Agile delivery programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and governing the UAT strategy, coordinating testing activities across teams, and ensuring high-quality business-ready solutions through effective collaboration with Product Management, QA, and business stakeholders.

This role requires strong stakeholder management, structured test governance, and the ability to drive integrated testing outcomes across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the overall UAT strategy, test plans, and testing governance framework.
• Coordinate QA and UAT activities across Agile teams, ensuring aligned schedules, dependencies, and execution plans.
• Lead UAT planning activities, including scope definition, test scenarios, entry and exit criteria, and sign-off management.
• Partner with Product Managers, Business Owners, and workstream leads to ensure business requirements are validated effectively.
• Manage and consolidate UAT feedback, including defects and enhancement requests, and oversee the defect management lifecycle.
• Establish and govern UAT processes, escalation paths, user access management, and reporting standards.
• Ensure all required UAT documentation is created, maintained, and audit-ready.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable and integrated end-to-end testing outcomes.
• Monitor testing progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, quality, and user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a UAT Manager, Test Manager, or Senior QA Lead in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Experience managing end-to-end UAT activities across multiple teams or enterprise programs.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with defect management and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, HP ALM).
• Ability to prioritize, manage risks, and coordinate multiple testing streams simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise transformation or digital programs.
• Knowledge of integrated systems testing and business process validation.
• ISTQB or relevant testing certification is an advantage.
• Experience working in regulated or large-scale corporate environments.
